Since splitting with his wife Jennie Garth, Twilight star Peter Facinelli has been quietly dating his Nurse Jackie co-star Jaimie Alexander, and she opened up for the first time about why she’s fallen for him.
“Peter’s a classy guy who cares a lot about the people [around him] and . . . he makes me laugh,” Jaimie, 28, said at the Tommy Hilfiger and GQ Men of New York party in Manhattan on Thursday night.

“That’s really more than I’ve ever found with anyone else,” she told Us Weekly.
The 38-year-old father of three, will not be spending Christmas with his new girlfriend, but she said they might ring in the new year together.

“Maybe we’ll do something for the New Year. We’re not sure yet – it’s all very up in the air,” she said.
