Accused nanny killer Yoselyn Ortega faces charges of first-degree murder for the brutal deaths of the children she was caring for, and despite much evidence seemingly pointing to her guilt, a new Facebook page has been created campaigning for her release.

The 50-year-old was arrested following the horrific October 25 stabbings of 6-year-old Lucia Krim and her 2-year-old brother, Leo, at their Manhattan home, and while she has admitted to police that she hurt them, sources told the New York Daily News that she has not confessed to the actual double murder.

While the administrators have remained anonymous, the Facebook page "Support Innocence of Nanny Yoselyn Ortega" claims to be run by "family, friends and just common Americans that believe she did not do this crime," they told RadarOnline.com.

The group is pleading for any information "that could help prove her innocence and bring the real killer or killers to be arrested.

"We believe she did not do this crime and she deserves to have her day in court to defend against the charges to prove her case in a not guilty verdict," they told RadarOnline.com.

Since the page was launched on October 29 – just four days after the cold-hearted stabbings – it has sparked a barrage of emotional responses from people both in support of and against Ortega, ranging from those who think she should "rot in hell" or be "put to death," to others who passionately believe that someone else committed the murders.

A rival page campaigning against support of Ortega has already been launched under the title Shut Up RaqHell She Is Delusional, expressing outrage that anyone could campaign for the alleged killer's innocence.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Ortega had an argument with her employer, Marina Krim, the day before the murders. "Yoselyn became extremely animated when she discussed the incident with law enforcement," a source close to the investigation told RadarOnline.com.

"Yoselyn also said she had numerous disagreements with Marina about how the kids were being cared for. Marina didn't think Yoselyn was interacting with the kids enough and was giving them junk food when she was out of sight."

Grieving parents Kevin and Marina Krim have kept close-lipped since the crime that ripped apart their family, instead focusing their energy on their remaining daughter, Nessie, three.

"I have seen her and she will be fine, she has wonderful parents," the children's paternal grandmother Karen Krim told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview on Wednesday from her home in Camarillo, Calif. "She will have lots of love and will be fine."
