Taylor Swift doesn’t think there is anything wrong with dating an 18-year-old!

The country star, who took her romance with high school junior Conor Kennedy public the week of his 18th birthday, sounds off about the backlash she has received for dating a younger man in the latest issue of Rolling Stone, and RadarOnline.com has the details.

“How did I kidnap him?” she responds to a story that she “kidnapped” Conor and flew him on a private jet to Nashville.

“You can’t kidnap a grown man! These are serious accusations now!”

Swift, who is pals with fellow young cougar Selena Gomez, also admits that she may have “got the idea” of dating a younger man from the Wizards of Waverly Place actress, who is currently dating Justin Bieber.

“Probably!” she replied “quick and cheerfully” when asked about the correlation.

And the 22-year-old also addresses the fact that before she hooked up with Conor she was “publically touting her interest in the Kennedy family history.”

“Weird,” she says. “Oh, my God, I know. It’s like – things happen in my life in coincidental ways that are weird.”

When the journalist, Brian Hiatt, compares her romance to Elvis superfan Nicolas Cage marrying Lisa Marie Presley and “getting the ultimate collectible,” Swift quickly shot down the similarity.

“That’s not what’s happening,” she “practically yells, sending her eyes skyward.”
