Ex-Cincinnati Bengals Cheerleader Strikes Plea Deal In Sex Abuse Case

Sarah Jones, the former Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader accused of bedding a 16-year-old high school student will accept a plea deal Monday, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The 27-year-old former Ben-Gal, who has been on house arrest since being charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a minor, could be sentenced as early as Monday, her lawyer Eric Deters told WCPO-TV.

Jones, who taught English at Kentucky's Dixie Heights High School, is accused of sexual abuse linked to a relationship with a student athlete. Last November, she stepped down from her post for "personal reasons."

Jones' 55-year-old mother Cheryl, who is a principal (on administrative leave) at Twenhofel Middle School in Independence, Kentucky, is expected to accept a plea deal to a charge of evidence tampering in connections with her daughter's case.
