Britney Spears 'Former Manager' Sam Lutfi Desperate To Get His Hooks Into Lindsay Lohan

Now that Lindsay Lohan's long suffering publicist, Steve Honig, has resigned as the mouthpiece of the embattled actress, Britney Spears self appointed "former manager," Sam Lutfi would love to work with Lilo, but she wants nothing to do with him, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

"Sam has been desperate to get his hooks into Lindsay for a very, very long time," a source close the situation tells RadarOnline.com. "He reached out to her after Steve Honig quit last week but she hasn't returned his calls or text messages. Lindsay wants absolutely nothing to do with Sam. She doesn't trust him and believes he is closely aligned with her estranged father, Michael Lohan.

"Lindsay says there is no way in hell she would work with Sam. She recognizes that Sam doesn't know anything about the entertainment business and knows of the hell that Britney went through when Lutfi was acting as her 'manager.' Lindsay's lawyers and agents would never work with Lutfi in any capacity — and quite frankly, the last thing Lindsay wants or needs in her life right now is Sam Lutfi."

As previously reported, even though Lutfi is currently squaring off against the Toxic singer and her parents in a Los Angeles courtroom, there are concerns that Lutfi is also trying to insert himself into the life of Michael Jackson's daughter Paris.

"Sam has been telling people in his inner circle that he is talking to Paris Jackson. Why would a grown man be in contact with a 14-year-old teenager?" an insider previously revealed.

"During a recent event for Mr. Pink's Ginseng energy drink in which Lindsay and Paris were in attendance, Sam was trying to arrange a photo op for the two on the red carpet. Sam can be extremely charming and likable, but Paris and her guardians, Katherine and TJ Jackson, would be wise to cut off all contact with him. Sam inserts himself into the lives of vulnerable females - look at his involvement with Britney when she was at her lowest point. Sam now manages Courtney Love and nothing more needs to be said about her," the insider added.

Lutfi is currently suing the Spears family for breach of contract, libel and defamation for comments Lynne Spears made in her memoir. The trial is expected to last nearly three weeks, with Lynne, Jamie and Britney's fiance Jason Trawick, all scheduled to testify. Lutfi has had multiple restraining orders taken out against him, including by Britney Spears.

There is no testimony Monday in the Lutfi-Spears trial - it will resume on Tuesday morning.
