Paris Hilton is telling her close friends that she didn’t make out with another girl before her new boyfriend, River Viiperi, was arrested for allegedly punching another club-goer at the XS nightclub at the Encore Hotel in Las Vegas, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
“Paris is steadfast that she never made out with another girl at the nightclub in Las Vegas. Paris is very upset that River got arrested because it was his first trip to Las Vegas. Paris took River to Las Vegas to celebrate his belated 21st birthday,” a source close to the couple exclusively tells RadarOnline.com.
“According to Paris, another couple had been harassing them at XS, and the guy was getting to close to the hotel heiress, and River just shoved him away from his girlfriend. River didn’t hit the dude, he was just protecting Paris and trying to give them a little space,” the insider added.
Las Vegas Metro Police Department responded to the scene, and River was arrested for misdemeanor battery. He was then taken to the security offices of the Encore Hotel to be processed. Viiperi was given a desk ticket with a court date, but was never taken to the police station. Hilton went to their car and waited there for River, and Paris’ brother, Barron, waited for her boyfriend to be released by the cops.
Hilton, 31, has a history of getting into legal trouble while at the Steve Wynn hotels. In 2010, Hilty was arrested in the security offices of the Wynn Hotel for felony cocaine possession. The reality star’s then-boyfriend, Cy Waits, was also arrested for driving under the influence and was fired by Wynn, who had been working as a promoter of the nightclubs at the hotels. Wynn banned Paris from his hotels after her guilty plea in the cocaine possession case, but subsequently granted her access to his hotels last year.
As we previously reported, Hilton was caught on audio tape obtained by Radar, and Paris is heard saying “Gay guys are the horniest people in the world. They’re disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS.”
She later issued an apology, insisting she is a strong supporter of the gay community.
“I was having this private conversation with a friend of mine who is gay, and our conversation was in no way towards the entire gay community,” she said.
Paris and River, who has modeled for Calvin Klein and Armani Exchange, met just two weeks ago when he was strutting the catwalk at a New York Fashion Week show Hilton attended.
