Shakira Confirms She's Pregnant!

Shakira has confirmed she's pregnant!

The Colombian hip-shaker and boyfriend Gerard Pique announced they are expecting their first child together on Wednesday.

"As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!" she wrote.

"At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days."

Shakira, 35, was slated to participate in the iHeartRadio Music Festival this weekend in Las Vegas but has pulled out because of her pregnancy.

"I will be closely following everything that happens there!" Shakira said.

"I’d like to thank Clear Channel and my fans for their constant love and understanding."

The joyous announcement comes just one day after it was revealed that Shakira and Usher will be replacing Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green on the fourth season of NBC's popular talent contest The Voice.

Coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will remain on board and the show's host Carson Daly said Tuesday on his radio show that Christina and Cee-Lo "will have the option to return as coaches" after season four.
