Sean Lowe Named The New Bachelor

Jef Holm got the girl, but Sean Lowe is going to get to do the choosing this time because he's the new Bachelor, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

The 28-year-old Dallas businessman is officially joining ABC as their season 17 Bachelor, which premieres next January.

Sean fought for Emily Maynard's affection on the latest season of The Bachelorette and after he was ousted from the show he made it sound like he'd never entertain the idea of being the next Bachelor, but it seems he's had a change of heart!

"It exhausted me just dating Emily, so the thought of dating 25 girls…" Sean explained to the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning radio show in July, saying there is no way he would ever be the next Bachelor.

Last season's Bachelor Ben Flajnik ended up proposing to Southern California model Courtney Robertson and the two are still together.
