Robert Pattinson Introduces Twilight Clip At 2012 MTV VMAs

Ever the consummate professional, Robert Pattinson was front-and-center at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards Thursday, appearing onstage with Taylor Lautner and others to introduce a sneak peek for November's The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2.
Lautner broke the ice, saying, "For over four years, we've been working together as a family on the Twilight films and this year, is the epic finale."
Then Pattinson said, "It's been an amazing journey and we'd like to thank all the fans of the series for your incredible enthusiasm from the beginning until now, the final chapter.
"This is an exclusive clip from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2."
The hunky stars were joined onstage by their Twilight colleagues Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Jackson Rathbone and Bill Condon (director).
Conspicuous by her absence was the actress who plays the film's heroine Bella, Kristen Stewart, as she instead promoted her film On The Road at the Toronto International Film Festival, avoiding an awkward reunion with Pattinson at such a high-profile event in the wake of her cheating scandal that began when intimate pictures surfaced of she and Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
In interviews since the scandal erupted, Pattinson has artfully dodged questions about Stewart.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 hits theaters November 16.
