Hilarious Throwback Mug Shots: Tinseltown's Troublemakers Taken Back To The Roaring 20s!

Santa Monica-based art director Michael Jason Enriquez has put together a clever interpretation of mugshots of Hollywood's rich and famous, presented in the style of 1920s Australian police photos.
The talented artisan posted the pics - inspired by real mugshots he saw at a historical display in Sydney, Australia - on his Tumblr blog, Mugshot Doppelgänger.
Among those whose mugshots were converted into vintage lore: Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Snooki, Charlie Sheen and Mel Gibson.
“These little projects are a way to step away from the commercial stuff and make some waves," Enriquez told an Australian news outlet, adding mugshots often present "a beautifully strange juxtaposition between beauty and the opposite."
Enriquez added that in Hollywood, "Most booked celebrities try to somehow make their mug shots look glamorous."
