Batman is "forever," according to director Joel Schumacher, but his home in central California isn't.

The action movie creator, whose credits include Phone Booth and A Time To Kill, has put his seven-acre compound in Carpinteria on the market for $9.45 million, according to the Wall Street Journal, because he felt he wasn't spending enough time there.

Located on four parcels of land just outside of Santa Barbara, the estate includes a 6,500-square-foot rustic-style main house with three bedrooms, a large living room with vaulted ceilings, two fireplaces and a loft office.

The property also includes a guesthouse and a home for a property manager, each of which has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a pool house.

Boasting breathtaking views of both the Pacific Ocean and the lush green mountains, an infinity pool lies amidst natural and colorful gardens.
