Roy Rogers galloped into homes across America every week on his trusty steed Trigger, and now the estate that the singing cowboy called home is up for sale, and RadarOnline.com has photos of the slice of movie history.

Located on  -- where else -- but Roy Rogers Road in Oro Grande, California 85 miles north of Los Angeles, the sprawling 67 acre horse ranch and training facility is where Rogers jumped in the saddle after he achieved fame and fortune in westerns.

The star of The Roy Rogers Show bought the land in the 1960s and built a 1,700 square foot, three-bedroom, three-bedroom house on the lot, along with a two-car garage and bunkhouse. A second smaller house is thought to date back to the 1930s but has since been converted into a museum to showcase his memorabilia.

Integral to the property is a large barn that has been transformed into theater-style seating to show movies, along with a kitchen with a full-size pizza oven.

Rogers and his wife, Dale Evans, purchased the ranch to breed and race horses because the higher altitude of the mountainous Apple Valley region made ideal training conditions, and the ranch is capable of sustaining more than 150 animals.

A half-mile track located on the south end of the property boasts a high-tech irrigation system, a four-horse electrified walker makes for easy exercising, while 17 stables with tack rooms and 10 fenced pastures meet the horses' every need.
