Rihanna opens up -- somewhat -- about her love life in the August issue Harper's BAZAAR.
The Only Girl singer graces the cover of the magazine, and in the accompanying article, she says her "whole life changed" when she was in love in the past, though stopping short at specifics. (It's likely she's referring to her infamous February 2009 break-up with Chris Brown, after he beat her to a pulp following a Grammys party in Los Angeles.)
"When I was in love, I fell so hard," she tells the magazine. "The way it made me feel was priceless. And in one blink of an eye, my whole life changed. Everything I think I knew was different. I never thought I'd feel that pain in my life again. I'm afraid of feeling that way again."
While she's been linked to many high-profile hunks in the three-and-a-half years since her split with Brown -- Matt Kemp, Drake and Ashton Kutcher, among them -- the sex symbol says she's "been conservative in her love life.

"It's pretty much nonexistent," the Barbadian beauty tells Harper's. "If I come across someone that I find really cool, I'll hang out. But the minute that we get too close I just -- I don't let people in."
The issue hits newsstands on Tuesday, July 17.
