Tom Cruise could be taking ex-fellow Scientologist Marty Rathbun's advice to settle his divorce with Katie Holmes quickly. The Mission: Impossible star's former auditor tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that the actor is going to have to pay Holmes "big time" to make it happen.

"My guess is that Tom will pay Katie big time for her agreeing to joint legal and physical custody of Suri, with the little girl living primarily with Holmes and with Katie issuing a short statement saying the divorce had nothing to do with Scientology."

As we previously reported, Rathbun, who left the controversial church in 2004 after almost 20 years, told RadarOnline.com, "Tom Cruise would be stupid to fight Katie Holmes for custody of Suri because of the information her family has about his ties to Scientology. Katie's family has information that Tom probably wouldn’t want released to the public."

Rathbun conducted confession sessions, known as audits, with Cruise from 2001-2004, at which time he left the church.  He has since become an outspoken critic of the organization, but has always declined to divulge specifics from those sessions with the Rock of Ages star.
