Merv Griffin was a billionaire when he died five years ago, and he certainly lived like one.

The TV mogul's equestrian estate in Southern California's Coachella Valley has gone on the market for $9.5 million.

His 39-acre estate near Palm Springs was designed around his love of horses but was also lavish in human creature comforts.

The four-bedroom main house has marble floors and a 1,200 sq. ft living room. There are three guest houses, each with three or four bedrooms. There's a 2.5 acre man-made lagoon  with dock plus an infinity pool and spa.

The horse facilities include elaborate barns and a racetrack.
