John Edwards And Rielle Hunter Break Up!

John Edwards and his mistress Rielle Hunter have broken up after she published a detailed memoir about their affair together.
“We are a family, but as of the end of last week John Edwards and I are no longer a couple. Not at all,” Rielle told George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America Tuesday.
Rielle and John’s affair broke up his marriage to Elizabeth Edwards and eventually ended his political career, but the two remained a couple until this week and shared parenting of their daughter Quinn.
The weekend after he was acquitted following his trial for illegal campaign contributions John, Rielle and Quinn were spotted on the beach of North Carolina together, but their relationship soon came to an end.
When she was asked if she still loves John she said, “I do” but when she was asked if he still loved her she said, “You have to ask him. I think he does.”
Rielle’s tell-all book detailed their affair and revealed a tasteless one-sided smear job on Elizabeth, who passed away from cancer in December 2010.
"Because there wasn't any physical or emotional intimacy between Johnny and Elizabeth, I had absolutely no jealous feelings about her," Rielle wrote in What Really Happened, adding "the 'wife as innocent victim' did not match the reality," as the pair had a fractured relationship.
"For me, for my part in it, it's because I'm no longer interested in hiding, hiding our relationship, not living out," Rielle said was part of the reason they split.
"I don't know if you've noticed, but we've had a lot of media scrutiny. It's complicated and it's hard. It wears you down after a while."
Rielle, who has been candidly talking about every intimate detail of her relationship with “Johnny” and their love life, declined to say who decided to call the relationship quits.
"That's private. We decided together to end it. It's hard. It's painful.”
