The Voice's Jermaine Paul: Alicia Keys Called Me After I Won

Jermaine Paul, the recently crowned winner of The Voice, says he got a call from Alicia Keys, who he used to sing backup for, upon capturing the NBC singing completion on Tuesday.
“She was screaming with excitement,” the New Yorker told Jay Leno Wednesday. “She told me she’s been watching me and supporting me the whole time.
"She was saying how proud of me she was.”
The 33-year-old Blake Shelton protégé claimed the show's grand prize of $100,000 and a record deal following his rousing performance of R. Kelly's signature ballad, I Believe I Can Fly.

He told Leno, “It’s been a non-stop chaos since I won, but I’m loving every bit of it.
"I’m in no way complaining. This is a dream come true. I’ve been dreaming about a moment like this my whole life."
Next up for the crooner?
"I’m so excited about the future and getting in the studio and creating an album!" he said.
