Hot Mama To Be! Molly Sims Dishes On Pregnancy Diet And Parenting Plans

Molly Sims is about to take on a new role  — as a first time mom — and she couldn’t me more thrilled!

The Las Vegas star is featured on the June/July 2012 cover of Fit Pregnancy magazine, where she reveals all of her pregnancy secrets, from what she is eating and how she is staying in shape to what kind of mother she thinks she will be.

“I’m trying to be really healthy, and I’ve switched to a mostly plant-based diet,” the 39-year-old dishes, revealing that she has been working with vegan chef Cody Chaet from trendy Los Angeles restaurant Café Gratitude to help her with her healthy eating. And although a chilled apple may curb her cravings at moments, she indulges every now and then.

“I also love fries and pizza; the carbs in both helped with my morning sickness early on.”

To stay in shape, Molly has been training with Tracy Anderson, doing low-impact cardio, a band workout for her arms and some leg work.

Sims plans on being a good mom, but don’t expect her to be her son’s BFF!

“I’m going to be very hands-on,” she explains.

“I know I’ll be really protective; even now I cover up my belly when I watch Law & Order so hecan’t hear it.

Also in the interview, Sims discusses her birthing plans, her maternity style and what baby gear she and her husband, producer Scott Stuber, will be sporting when their bundle of joy arrives this summer.
