Extra beauty Maria Menounos was the star of the night, donning vampire fangs for her paso doble set to Prokofiev's Montagues and Capulets. Carrie Ann Inaba told the costumed Maria she was "so on fire," while Len Goodman summed up the performance as "sharp as a razor."

Of course, the charismatic Bruno Tonioli put his own brilliant spin on Maria's vampire angle, telling her, "Bite me! Turn me! Right now."

Monday's music was provided by a trio of celebrated classical musicians: violinist Joshua Bell, soprano singer Jackie Evancho and Italian tenor Vittorio Grigolo.

In addition to the individual routines, the dancers paired off in two teams to compete for another 30 points. Team Paso, who earned 26 points for their routine, featured Melissa Gilbert, William Levy and Donald Driver. Maria, Katherine Jenkins, Roshon Fegan and Jaleel White made up Team Tango, who edged their rivals with 27 points.

Hot on Maria's tail was weekly standout Katherine, as the Welsh stunner got 27 points for her rumba to Pachelbel's Canon in D.

"Technically, I think," Carrie Anne told her, "in this competition, you are unmatched."

William and Donald were not slouches either, tying for third with 53 points a piece. William was admittedly hobbled by an ankle injury -- and the change in genre -- but still got 27 for his Viennese waltz to Ave Maria.

Donald's brought the same quiet consistency he's provided on the gridiron to the ballroom floor, keeping up his strong season with a Viennese waltz Len called "terrific."

Elsewhere on the night, Roshon Fegan scored 52 (25 individual, 27 group) for his Argentine tango; Jaleel White got 51 (24, 27) for his Viennese waltz; and Melissa Gilbert got 47 (21, 26) for her Argentine tango.

We'll see the final dance duel of the season when Dancing with the Stars continues on ABC Tuesday at 9/8c.
