Time Magazine has released their list of the top 100 most influential individuals in 2012, and a number of them have caught our eye here at RadarOnline.com.

From the pop culture world, honorees included hip-hop's honeybadger Rihanna; Kristen Wiig for her Bridesmaids and SNL success; Adele for being a music industry revolutionary; Chelsea Handler, whose snarky takes have her on top of the Hollywood food chain; and Matt Lauer, the venerable Today show host who recently inked a huge contract extension on NBC's top-rated morning vehicle.

Both Middleton sisters made the list --  Kate for her grace and Pippa for her classy sex appeal.

Breakout jocks to make the list include devout NFL star Tim Tebow and NBA breakout Jeremy Lin.

The magazine also features unique essays on the influential individuals from fellow celebrities including Angelina Jolie on filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy; Stella McCartney on Rihanna; Howard Stern on Lauer; Kathy Griffin on Handler; and Pink on Adele, among others.

MORE ON:
Tim Tebow

"She's one of the coolest, hottest, most talented, most liked, most listened to, most followed, most impressive artists at work today, but she does it in her own stride," Stella said of Rihanna.

Pink gave Adele kudos saying, "Her success renews hope in me that the world I live in has good taste — that we still occasionally come back to what's simple, and simply amazing."
