Did Jennifer Lopez Imitate Eminem With New Video?

If you got a sense of deja vu watching the orgy scene in Jennifer Lopez’s new video Dance Again, there’s good reason.
In the steamy video, which debuted on Thursday’s episode of American Idol, the 42-year-old gets frisky with her current beau, 24-year-old Casper Smart, before descending into a writhing pit of sexy bodies grabbing, groping and caressing the music star.
Sexy, sure, but original? We beg to differ.
On close inspection, we noticed that the sequences, particularly the orgy scene, seem to be -- let’s call it “artistically inspired”-- by rapper Eminem’s 2002 video for the song Superman, in which Slim Shady gets frisky with a blonde beauty before descending into a writhing pit of sexy bodies grabbing, groping and ... you get the idea.

The uncanny coincidence is reminiscent of last year’s controversy in which many noticed Lady Gaga’s single Born This Way sounded eerily like Madonna’s 1989 hit, Express Yourself.
Madge stayed mum at first, but earlier this year said of the coincidence, “When I heard Born This Way on the radio, I said that sounds very familiar. It felt reductive.”
