Trayvon Martin Shooting: George Zimmerman Says Investigation Is A 'Witch Hunt'

George Zimmerman, the self appointed neighborhood watch captain who fatally shot unarmed Trayvon Martin, says the new investigation into the shooting is a 'witch hunt' and that he expects to be arrested, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
As we previously reported, Martin,17,was killed as he was walking through a gated community, carrying candy and iced tea. Zimmerman shot the teen, claiming it was in self defense.
Zimmerman is currently in hiding because of numerous death threats; however, he has been watching the extensive news coverage of the shooting.
"George thinks the new round of investigations are nothing but a witch hunt," a source close to Zimmerman tells RadarOnline.com. "The Sanford Police Department cleared him on any wrongdoing, and the fact that the feds and the state are now involved just shows that the agencies are only responding to the public demands for his arrest. George expects to be arrested in connection with Trayvon's death, even though he vehemently maintains that he shot Trayvon in self-defense."
The 911 call that Zimmerman made to report Martin as a "suspicious guy" has been sent to FBI headquarters in Washington D.C. for further analysis to determine if he uttered a racial slur. During the call there has been speculation that Zimmerman uttered the racial slur, under his breath, " f*king c**ns" after he tells the dispatcher that Martin was heading towards the back entrance of the gated community. Zimmerman also allegedly says, "these a**holes always get away."
"The 911 call has been sent to the FBI headquarters for further analysis to determine if George used any racial slurs. If it can be determined that Zimmerman uttered the racial slur, he could be charged with a hate crime," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. "The FBI has the technology to isolate portions of the call and enhance the audio. The FBI will be turning over their findings in a formal report to the United States Justice Department and prosecutors in Florida to determine if any criminal charges are going to be filed against Zimmerman."
During the call the dispatcher asks Zimmerman if he is following Martin, and he says yes. The operator then tells him, "we don't need you to do that." Trayvon was shot and killed several minutes later.
Calls to George Zimmerman's attorney, Craig Sonner, seeking comment weren't immediately returned.
