If you haven’t heard of One Direction, you soon will.

The British/Irish boy band has announced its first-ever North American Tour, as news broke that the group made history as the first U.K. group to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with their debut album Up All Night. The album's first single, What Makes You Beautiful, debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 only a month ago.

Ryan Seacrest announced Wednesday on his KIIS-FM radio show that the U.K. singing sensations would soon be invading America, starting May 24 in Fairfax, Virginia and sweeping through the nation.
