On June 22, it will be 43 years since screen icon Judy Garland died of a drug overdose, but her legacy lives on in the hearts of her millions of adoring fans and her classic movies, and RadarOnline.com has photos of the California home where she once lived.

Located on Bel-Air’s iconic Stone Canyon Road, the five bedroom home won its place in Hollywood history when Judy lived there as a child star in 1940 with her mother, grandmother and sister, just two years after she was rocketed to fame as Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz, reported Zillow.com.

A classic black and white photograph shows the talented 18-year-old posing in the front garden in a plaid dress and Mary Jane shoes, smiling innocently while leaning back on a director’s chair with the country-style home behind her.

Now the 5-bedroom, 6.5 bathroom home has been remodeled and relisted at $7.1 million by its current owner, Stephanie Booth Murray, who bought the house last year for $5.2 million.

Built in 1938 on a 2.5 acre lot, the 5,513-square-foot home has been transformed from bare brick to fresh white walls on the exterior. Inside, there is a cook’s kitchen that looks out to the garden, an office, library, and spacious formal dining and living areas, perfect for entertaining.

Nestled on a rural street tucked away from the bright lights of Tinseltown, Garland’s teenage oasis now has a meticulously landscaped backyard with an outdoor pool, separate cabanas, and an original “writer’s cabin.”

The Meet Me In St. Louis star is not the only Hollywood icon to sleep under this roof, Quincy Jones and Marvin Gaye have both called it home, and current owner Murray is the great-great granddaughter of General Harrison Gray Otis, the first editor of the Los Angeles Times and founder of the Times Mirror Company.
