Jennie Garth On Split With Peter Facinelli: 'My Personal Life Is Kind Of Crazy'

90210 alum Jennie Garth is speaking out for the first time about her surprising split, Twilight star Peter Facinelli.

Garth -- speaking with Access Hollywood Live on Tuesday about her new CMT series, Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country -- described her life as “hectic.”

“I wanted to move out of the city for a while and something inside of me said, ‘It’s time.’ I needed that sort of shelter, some things in my life have been transitioning. I just needed that,” Garth said. The show follows her and her three daughters as they live on a seven-acre farm in California; Facinelli will not appear on the show.

“My life is a little hectic right now and my personal life is kind of crazy. This is what I need and what the girls need right now, so it’s perfect.” she said.

In a joint statement, Garth and Facinelli announced last week they were divorcing after 11 years of marriage.

On Monday, she was spotted in Los Angeles not wearing her wedding ring.

Although Facinelli has been accused of cheating with another woman, both stars have denied that a third party was involved in their breakup.
