Child Protective Services have interviewed Robert Kennedy’s son, Douglas  and his wife Molly, in connection with a scuffle that he allegedly got into with nurses at the hospital after he attempted to take his newborn son outside, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

As previously reported the part-time Fox reporter was formally charged with child endangerment and harassment after he allegedly kicked hospital nurses who were attempting to stop him from taking newborn son, Bo, outside for air.

Nurse Cari Maleman Luciano told investigators, "'Instinctively as a nurse, I raised both my arms toward the neck of the baby to steady the violent shaking of the baby's head and neck," but then Kennedy allegedly kicked her in the pelvis and caused her to fall.

Kennedy actually fell onto the floor with the baby in his arms, according to the police report. He then got up and ran "down the stairs with the infant until he was stopped by security and escorted back to the infant's room.  Under New York state law, anytime a parent or a custodial guardian is charged with child endangerment, Child Protective Services conducts a welfare check.

"Douglas and Molly were extensively interviewed by the social workers. They have four children, including their newborn son, Bo,” a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “The Kennedys were extremely cooperative and social workers determined that Bo was in a loving and safe environment. The report that was generated from the visit is sealed because it involves minor children, but there were no red flags and there might be another follow-up visit for procedural purposes only, but Bo will remain in the custody of his parents.”
