Sacha Baron Cohen is at it again.

The funnyman, known for his alter-egos Ali G., Bruno and Borat, is moving forward with his new shtick -- a self-described, over-the-top character called Admiral General Aladeen from his upcoming film, The Dictator -- despite being banned from the red carpet at Sunday’s Academy Awards by organizers likely fearing he will make a mockery of show biz’s grandest event.

Cohen called into the Today Show Friday, in full character, to talk about the Oscar snub, so to say.

“Welcome. Good morning. I have been very busy today. I actually delayed 30 executions to do this,” he said. “Normally, I would be impressed by an act of cowardice by a faceless regime, but this is personal.

“You know, I have issued them an ultimatum. They have until mid-day on Sunday to give me my tickets back. If they do not they will face unforeseen and unimaginable consequences. By the way, how is your family? How is your eunuch, Al Roker?”

Earlier, the Andy Kaufman-esque comic posted a video on his website decrying Academy officials for taking away his access.

“On behalf of the nation of Wadiya, I am outraged at being banned from the Oscars by the Academy of Motion Pictures of Arts and Zionists. While I applaud the Academy for taking away my right to free speech, I warn you that if you do not lift your sanctions and give me my tickets back by 12 p.m. on Sunday, you will face unimaginable consequences.”

He added he was especially upset having paid Hilary Swank $2 million to be his date for the evening, yet “she will not refund a penny.”
