President Barack Obama Moves With Jagger

Wild horses couldn't keep President Barack Obama away from the mic, as the commander in chief performed and alongside a trio of musical legends in Mick Jagger, B.B. King and Jeff Beck in the East Room of the White House Tuesday night.

The president did not channel Al Green this time, paying tribute to his hometown with a rendition of Sweet Home Chicago.

He described to the AP his love of music -- particularly the blues.

"This music speaks to something universal: No one goes through life without both joy and pain, triumph and sorrow,” he said. “The blues gets all of that, sometimes with just one lyric or one note."

President Barack Obama Is Ringing In His 50th - It's Party Time!

The event was taped for an upcoming PBS special, In Performance at the White House: Red, White and Blues, which airs Monday at 9/8c.
