Duchess Kate’s Wedding Gown Designer Sarah Burton Wins Top Honors At Elle Style Awards

It was a big night in London for the UK’s fiercest fashionistas at the 2012 Elle Style Awards, where Kate Middleton’s wedding gown designer Sarah Burton received the top honors of the evening as International Designer of the Year. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who was named Style Icon, looked smoking hot in an Antonio Berardi dress, Sergio Rossi heels and an Edie Parker clutch while Christina Ricci looked dark and dangerous in a Jonathan Saunders gown.
Jessica Chastain looked beyond beautiful, wearing an Alexander McQueen dress designed by Burton, but it was feisty supermodel Naomi Campbell who presented Burton with her big award.
The Alexander McQueen wedding gown that Burton designed for Middleton is also nominated for Designs of the Year Awards, which will take place in April.
