The frantic 9-1-1 call that was made immediately after Lauren Scruggs walked into the propeller of a plane has been released, and the intense pain the model was suffering from can be clearly heard as people frantically rushed to get her help.

RadarOnline.com has decided not to air the graphic and horrific recording where Scruggs, 23, can be heard wailing in agony throughout the entire tape. The call was made on December 3, 2011 immediately after Scruggs walked into the propeller and a person on the phone tells the operator that six people are helping her.

“I need…a girl just walked into an airplane prop I need an ambulance immediately,” the caller says to the operator and then asks someone there 'Is that her hand?'”

Operator: Was it moving?

Female Caller: Yes, I think it cut her hand off.

The caller tells the operator “She’s on the ground, she’s not moving.” The female caller then gives the phone to another man on the scene and he talks to the 9-1-1 operator, who says they are sending an ambulance.

Operator: How old is she?

Male Caller: 22

Operator: Is she conscious

Male Caller: Yes.

Operator: Is she breathing?

Male Caller:

Yes.

Lauren’s painful wailing can be heard on the recording as the operator instructs the man how to care for her.

Operator: Tell her don’t move. Is she bleeding?

Male Caller: Yes.

Operator: Where is she bleeding from?

Male Caller: We don’t know we haven’t turned her over yet.

Operator: Is she responsive?

Male Caller: Somewhat yes.

The caller then tells the operator that Lauren is “trying to get up.”

Operator: No we don’t want her to get up we want to keep her on the floor. Is she away from the propeller?

Male Caller: Yes, the airplane is shut off.

Operator: I don’t want you to move her unless she’s in danger. If you can see where she’s injured we can help you stop the bleeding.

Male Caller: She’s face down, we can not see that.

Lauren’s wailing continues and the operator instructs the man to help her.

Operator: Try and get her to calm down I can hear her in the background and try and find out where all she is injured. See if we can find out where she is bleeding from.

Male Caller: Do you want me to let her turn over?

Operator: Is she trying to?

Male Caller: She is trying to. Yes.

Operator: We don’t want to hurt her any further.

Male Caller: I agree.

Operator: If we can get her to lay still.

Male Caller: We’re trying to get her to lay still. She’s still trying to do it. She is laying somewhat still.

Operator: Keep her as calm as you can. If you can find out where she is bleeding from we will hold towels on there.

The caller says that with all of the blood he believes her wounds are “probably her head,” and the operator says “Don’t move her head. We don’t want to move her head, keep her head still.” Having lost both her left eye and left hand in the accident, Scruggs was spotted on Thursday carefully concealing her injuries with an eye patch and a long-sleeved sweatshirt that fell far below her wrist.

Dressed in a Dallas Cowboys cap and leggings, she seemed happy and relaxed when her parents, Jeff and Cheryl, and twin sister, Brittany, arrived to pick her up after the appointment to help her learn to function properly again. She also suffered a fractured skull, broken left collarbone and brain injuries.

Despite her brave face during her hospital outing, Lauren's family revealed the depth of her ongoing struggle on the family CaringBridge.org blog on Wednesday. "It's hard to watch the reality face to face, even though we KNOW that God will never leave us or forsake us," her deeply-religiously mother wrote.

"We know all of the 'right answers.' But it doesn't change what happened, and it is just plain hard to watch Lo come to grips with the fact that she has lost her hand and lost her eye. "It's hard to hear her tears," said Cheryl.
