Kathy Griffin has a killer body and she wants the world to know!

The 51-year-old has worked hard to lose weight and firm up and now she just can't stop flashing the results at every chance — Thursday night she stripped off for David Letterman and his Late Show cameras.

When the comedienne arrived at the studio she looked demure, dressed in a one shoulder black shift dress, but she soon shed the outerwear to show off the underwear.

Letterman prompted the strip routine by asking Griffin about her New Year’s Eve CNN broadcast where she appeared at one point in just her black lacy bra. Her strip down prompted close friend, and co-host Anderson Cooper to ask to camera: “Are you freaking kidding me?”

But Letterman didn’t appear so shocked, even helping Griffin out of her dress at one point.

Talking about her NYE strip, Griffin quipped: “Every year I try to up the ante because, you know, I've done it for five years now and I've been fired four years in a row.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Kathy daringly stripped off for Out magazine last year to recreate Janet Jackson's iconic topless Rolling Stone cover, with fellow redhead Jesse Tyler Ferguson cheekily cupping her breasts.

According to Out, the pair “couldn't stop from clowning around” during the shoot, and afterwards Ferguson tweeted how his hands would “never be the same.”

Well, you know what they say -- If you've got it flaunt it!
