Queen Elizabeth II's 90-year-old husband Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, was resting at the royal family's estate Sandringham Tuesday, after a four-night stay in the hospital in which he underwent a successful coronary stent procedure.

The royal complained of chest pains Friday and was airlifted to Cambridge's Papworth, a medical facility specializing in heart surgery, where it was discovered he had a blocked coronary artery.

Because he fell ill, the prince missed Sunday's royal church service and a Boxing Day shooting party Monday. Both Prince William and Prince Harry visited him while he was in hospital care.

Buckingham Palace said in a statement Tuesday that Philip "is very much looking forward to rejoining his family," and that he thanks the staff at Papworth for their care.
