In this exclusive clip of the show featuring the annual Punkin Chunkin extravaganza obtained by RadarOnline.com, more than 100,000 fans gather to watch teams compete – in a contest to see whose homemade contraption can propel a pumpkin the farthest.
Last year’s reigning champs, the Hormone Blasters, are at it again, trying to win the contest that is celebrating its 26th year.
Hosted by Mythbusters Kari, Tory and Grant, the show goes inside the wacky world of the explosive contraptions and wild personalities that are looking for “gourd glory.”
Punkin Chunkin airs on Thanksgiving night at 8 p.m. on the Discovery Channel and the Science Channel.
