Michael Lohan was rushed to the hospital Thursday night for life-saving heart surgery, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Lindsay‘s father was rushed to Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft. Myers, Florida after his blood pressure spiked, his close friend Tom Murro tells us.
Lohan had a stent inserted into an artery coming from his heart, in a procedure called an angioplasty, to correct a problem with diminished blood flow.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported on Monday, Lohan has entered a court-ordered rehab program for a 120 day anger management program.
He has a history of heart problems.
Lohan will be heading back to the rehab center as soon as he is medically stable, Murro tells us.
