Charlie Sheen and Michael Lohan have something in common – ‘Anger Management’ – only for Lohan, it’s not a TV show, it’s real life.

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Lindsay Lohan’s legally challenged father Michael has checked into rehab to learn to deal with his out-of-control temper after being released from a Florida jail.

The Lohan family patriarch, 51, was ordered by the court to spend 120-days in a Ft. Myers, Florida rehab center to be treated for anger management issues following his double arrests for domestic violence involving his ex-girlfriend Kate Major.

“Michael knows he belongs there and he wants to get help,” a source close to Lohan told RadarOnline.com.

The source said Michael wanted to be in rehab in California, not Florida. Earlier this year Michael checked into Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab to deal with his anger management issues, which were documented on the reality show.

“He wants to be in LA getting help from Dr. Drew, but he is doing what the court ordered,” the source said.

In a coincidence that could only happen to Michael Lohan, his ex Kate Major is in a rehab center in Florida as well, but the source said Michael and Kate haven’t had any contact and don’t plan to either.
