Police are investigating a possible sighting of baby Lisa Irwin after witnesses spotted two women with an infant that matched the missing 11-month-old's description, and RadarOnline.com has exclusive confirmation from the private investigator in the case.

"Two women were in a diner with a baby who fits the description about an hour-and-half away in Manhattan, Kansas," private eye Bill Stanton told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

"When they were approached they walked out and a police APB is out searching for their car," revealed the investigator, who is busy working the case.

Riley County police are now searching the area, which is approximately 130 miles from where Lisa vanished from her crib on October 3 in the Kansas City, Missouri home of her parents, Jeremy Irwin and Deborah Bradley.

Around 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, a woman eating at McAlister's Deli off of Turtle Creek Boulevard says she spotted two women with a baby that matched the missing child's description, reported WIBW.com.

She says the two women left the restaurant and got into a small black car with Missouri tags, possibly a 1998-1999 model.

Kansas City police have also been searching a wooded area just a few blocks from where Lisa vanished and declared it a no-fly zone earlier on Tuesday but it was later lifted, reported KMBC.com.

Police vans typically used to collect evidence at crime scenes were at the location and investigators were seen pulling out ground sifters, according the local news site, while specially trained dogs were also brought in to aid the hunt.

Police Captain Steve Young said authorities were in the area searching on a tip, but that the tip did not result in anything.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, another high profile name was added to the search effort this week after Lisa’s parents hired suspected killer Joran van der Sloot's former attorney.

Prominent New York City defense lawyer Joe Tacopina announced in a press conference on Monday that he will join the team of people representing the distraught couple.

Tacopina is best known for representing van der Sloot, the prime suspect in the murder of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway in Aruba. He joins private detective Stanton on the case, who flew to Kansas City to join the family's team after an anonymous female benefactor offered to pay his bill.

Baby Lisa will turn a year old on November 1. She has blue eyes and blonde hair, is 30 inches tall and weighs about 28 pounds. The outfit she was last seen wearing consisted of purple shorts and a purple shirt with images of white kittens on it.

If you have information on Lisa's disappearance, call the Kansas City Police Department hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
