Sinead O’Connor's off-the-walk tweets earlier this week begging her followers for advice on how to commit suicide had her fans duly alarmed.

But the often bizarre Irish singer seems to have turned the page, and wants everyone to know she's OK.

"Am fine.  All is well.  Am sorry upset people," O'Connor tweeted on Saturday.

She also alerted the interested and curious to an "open letter" she's posted on her website.

In that, O'Connor, 44, said she does "believe suicide is a sin," and also points out to doesn't solve your problems.

"Its a permanent solution to a temporary problem," she offers.

"BUT its ok to FEEL suicidal," she says.  And in that case, for her followers in Ireland, she alerts them to an organization -- Pieta House -- where they may be able to get help.

O'Connor has been married three times, has four children by four different men, and came out as a lesbian a decade ago. In 2007, she also confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she had attempted suicide when she was 33.
