Fashion Week Kicks Off – BCBG Max Azria Spring 2012

The Spring/Summer 2012 collections started to hit the runway on Friday morning as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week kicked off in NYC – and RadarOnline.com is bringing you all of the best and most style-savvy coverage, starting with the BCBG Max Azria show!

The fresh collection, which had a totally tribal but urban vibe, was hautely hued in bright orange, chartreuse green, vibrant blue as well as several

shades of grey.  It featured asymmetrical hemlines, one-shoulder necklines and swinging skirts and notably, shied away from uber-short hemlines and skintight styles. 

Celebs in the front row included Sophia Bush, Jordana Brewster and Julia Jones, all clad in fashions from the designer’s collection.

The models rocked OPI Somoan Sand polish on their toes and fingers – which means nude nails will continue to reign next Spring!  As for makeup, Charlotte Willer got all the models gorgeous using Maybelline makeup from the Fit Me! Collection.

“The beauty look at BCBGMAXAZRIA is inspired by a woman who just stepped out of the shower after a long, healthy workout,” she explained. “Fresh, radiant skin is the star.  I added a touch of lip balm to the eyelids for a healthy glow.”
