RadarOnline.com has obtained the call made to 911 after the body of Warrant’s former lead singer Jani Lane was discovered at a San Fernando valley motel on August 11.

The caller calmly tells the 911 dispatcher that she works at the front desk of the motel and that the housekeepers had repeatedly knocked on the door of Lane’s  room, but that no one answered. The caller said one of the housekeepers went in and thought he was dead. The 911 dispatcher asked her to ask the housekeepers to go back into the room and make sure the person was dead.  He said, in the meantime, they would dispatch an ambulance to the motel. After a pause in the call, the woman tells the dispatcher that no one wants to go back into the room.

Lane, 47, was carrying no official ID on him when he was found. However, alcohol and pills were found by his body, according to authorities.

There is no criminal investigation into his death. The LAPD believes Lane's death was either accidental or due to natural causes.

An autopsy has been completed and results from the toxicology tests are expected soon.

Lane famously penned Warrant’s biggest hit Cherry Pie back in 1989 before eventually leaving the band to pursue a solo career.
