Kelly Preston Says Scientology Got Her Through Son Jett’s Death

By Amber GoodhandRadar Reporter

Kelly Preston was devastated when she lost her 16-year-old son Jett more than two years ago and reveals in a new interview that it was her faith in Scientology that helped get her through it.

“To be honest, [it was] the Scientology center. I don’t know if I would have made it through without it,” Preston, 48, told Health magazine in the September 2011 issue.

Preston and hubby John Travolta were vacationing in the Bahamas when Jett suffered a seizure and died on January 2, 2009. Since the heartbreaking tragedy, the couple has given birth to their new son, Benjamin, which Preston described as a blessing.

“We [had been trying] for quite a few years… When I found out I was pregnant, I was floored. I’d snuck out of bed and then came back and woke Johnny up in bed,” Preston said.
