2011 VMA: Lady Gaga’s Opening Performance -- Which Star Predicted She’d Dress In Drag

The big question Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards was how would Lady Gaga open the show?
Of course, we now know how she did it -- dressed in drag as her male alter-ego Joe Calderone!
Prior to the start of the show, RadarOnline.com was on the black carpet asking the stars for their predictions about Gaga’s opening number – and Pete Wentz nailed it. The Fall Out Boy front man told our Candace Smith that
he didn’t want Gaga to die on stage like she did last year and added that if she showed up as her alter ego that would be “a big deal”.
Candace suggested Flo Rida could top Lady Gaga’s performance simply by doing his usual and running on stage and taking his shirt off. His hot VMA date agreed.
Teen Wolf’s Holland Roden suggested the only way Gaga could top her last VMA performance was with a rocket ship.
Just Go With It’s Nick Swordson thought she should cut her head off and make out with it!
Teen Wolf’s Tyler Hoechlin thought it would be cool if Gaga was really dead and came back to life while his co-star JR Bourne said she should turn her blood into wine.

MTV’s 10 on Top Lenay Dunn reminisced about seeing Lady Gaga die on stage and remembered it was the best thing ever.
R&B singer Luke James said he could top Gaga’s performance by setting himself on fire.
America’s Best Dance Crew’s Poereotics simply said she should come out of a chicken while MTV’s Awkward Ashley Rickards said it’s time for tofu.
