Those giant Transformers did it again. The third installment in the franchise, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, is a box office monster. Shia LaBeouf and the gang are on target to bring in an estimated $97 million for the three-day weekend. For the entire holiday schedule — the flick opened just after 12 am on Wednesday — it should pull in close to $200 million.
But not even Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks — with Hanks directing — could save Larry Crowne. The romantic comedy only sold an estimated $13 million in tickets for the three day weekend.
