Maria Shriver has already started renovations a new $10 million home in Brentwood, Calif. but has remained silent on when she signed on the dotted line and when her exact move-in date will be.
Shriver's 13-year-old son Christopher was released from the hospital on Monday after a serious boogie-boarding accident, so the former First Lady of California didn't have time to check on the remodeling progress of the home until Tuesday.
"Maria is eager to move into the new home but they're still doing construction on it and she's put it on the backburner lately because Christopher is her priority," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.
"There's still a lot of work to be done on the home, but Maria's eager to get in so she can settle into her new life without Arnold."
Renovations on the home are expected to take nearly three months to complete, so according to the insider, Maria hopes her divorce with Arnold is complete by then too.

Maria moved out of the Brentwood home she once shared with Arnold months ago, but settled on the new 11,000 square-foot, eight bedroom, seven bathroom home in the same neighborhood so her children could easily commute between her and Arnold.
The couple had no pre-nuptial agreement in place, so it's likely they will split their estimated $400 million worth 50/50.
