Patrick Dempsey Rumored To Be Leaving Grey's Anatomy

Patrick Dempsey soon be leaving the hit ABC medical drama that resuscitated his career.
The swoon-inducing star with the best hair on television told the new issue of Italian Vanity Fair magazine that the upcoming eighth season of Grey's Anatomy will be his last, reported TVLine.com.
"I do not know what's going to happen to the other characters, but for me it's done," revealed the 45-year-old actor, who said the idea of leaving the show is, "bittersweet because it's been great a great part of my life. But I can't see me doing it anymore."
But fans shouldn't be mourning sexy brain surgeon Derek Shepherd just yet, as Us Weekly reports that Dempsey's rep says no decisions have been made regarding his departure from Seattle Grace.
"He was referring to the fact that his contract is up at the end of next season and we have no idea what the future holds," his publicist told the magazine.
