VIDEO: American Idol's James Durbin 'Just Might Win The Whole Thing,' Says Randy Jackson

Will America still love James Durbin tomorrow? Based on his performance Wednesday, he's got nothing to worry about.

The 22-year-old Santa Cruz native wowed judges Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez on American Idol’s Carole King night with his rockin’ rendition of the 1960 chart-topper she penned for The Shirelles, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.

“I thought from the beginning it was magical ... you are going to be the star of the night with that one, it was amazing for me,” Lopez told Durbin, noting his consistency "every week since we started the top 13."

Jackson said Durbin proved he's "a great singer" and "just might win the whole thing!"

Durbin has quite the backstory: He’s been diagnosed with both Tourette syndrome and Asperger's, was unemployed upon entering the competition and has a child. His father, also a musician, died of a drug overdose when James was just 9-years-old.
