Embattled actress Lindsay Lohan's preliminary hearing will proceed on Friday as planned, a source told RadarOnline.com, despite the fact that the starlet invoked the Christian holy day of Good Friday as an excuse to postpone.

Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers will be calling to testify the jewelry store owner and the store employee who worked the day that Lindsay allegedly stole a necklace on January 22.

Friday's hearing is expected to last most of the day, and Judge Stephanie Sautner banned cameras inside her courtroom.  The hearing could help determine whether there's enough evidence to put the star of Mean Girls on trial.

If she is ordered to stand trial, however, Hollywood's party girl could automatically be found in violation of probation stemming from a 2007 DUI conviction.

Then, she could be sent to jail immediately for up to six months.
