"It's awesome the way we came together after not being chosen on our seasons of the Bachelor and Bachelorette," Kiptyn told RadarOnline.com.

Part of the success of their relationship they attribute to the fact they became friends before their stint on the hot game show where Bachelor/Bachelorette show cast off's compete head to head for a whopping 250 thousand dollars grand prize.

"I'm a lucky girl that Kiptyn gave me a shot and it wasn't just a game for him," Tenley said.

"We were still friends when the kissing contest happened, but when I saw her with the other guys I thought wow maybe she's not so innocent, because she was going after it."

The pair's relationship blossomed while on their date in Catalina and they weathered the show well ending their season as the runner-ups.

Kiptyn explained: "After we shot the Bachelor Pad we had to hide out, we were told to stay out of the limelight so we wouldn't give away what happened on the show."

"Following those rules just secured our relationship because we spent so much time alone together.

"We are both very serious about our future so we're moving closer to each other."

Said Tenley: "I'm not quite ready to move in together, but I'm leaving Orange County to live in San Diego so we can be less than a ten minute drive from each other.

"We're both really lucky to have come through this experience and we hope our success will make those doing the shows in the future to be optimistic."

"Our advice to Brad and Emily is, they should remove themselves from the idea of what the public expects and keep their eyes on their real relationship."
