Sexy supermodel turned bigscreen babe Brooklyn Decker underwent a major makeover on Tuesday, getting a short and sexy new bob -- and RadarOnline.com is the first to get the details about her new look, from her hairstylist himself.

Brooklyn, who is famous for her gorgeous long blonde locks and covetable curves, collaborated with celebrity stylist Ted Gibson at the future location of his W Fort Lauderdale salon, which is set to open this summer. After looking at several photographs and discussing options, they decided that the Sport’s Illustrated covergirl needed a more sophisticated look.

Ted gave her an above the shoulder layered bob with soft fringe -- a major departure from her long locks!

“I loved cutting your hair 12 inches off today!!” Ted Tweeted to Brooklyn after the makeover, revealing her new look with a photo.

Jason Backe, who is Ted's husband and master colorist, wanted to keep Brooklyn’s blonde color, but also give her a beachier and more natural look.

Using L'Oreal Professionnel's INOA, an ammonia free hair color, he gave her low lights and high lights, deepening her shade just a little.
