Security Guard Working On NCIS Set Dies After Getting Hit By Van

A security guard died Wednesday on the Santa Clarita, California set of the CBS drama NCIS after he was struck by a moving van, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The driver of the van suffered from a medical condition, causing him to black out and inadvertently hit the security guard (whose name has not been released), according to Sheriff's Sgt. Michael Konecny.

"Everyone at the network, the studio and 'NCIS' is devastated by the news," CBS said in a statement. "Our hearts grieve for his family and friends for this tragic loss. We are, of course, cooperating with the local authorities in Santa Clarita to help determine what caused this terrible accident."
