Lady Gaga -- the self proclaimed "master of the art of fame" -- confessed to Anderson Cooper that she dabbles in drugs, in a new interview where she "didn't want to wear clothes".

"I still smoke a lot of pot when I write music," the hit-making pop star revealed, in a tell-all for CBS' 60 Minutes, where Cooper was guest reporting.

"So I’m not gonna, like, sugar coat it for "60 Minutes" that I’m some, like, sober human being, 'cause I’m not."

However, "I don’t want to encourage kids to do drugs," Gaga said.

She added, "But when you asked me about the sociology of fame and what artists do wrong — what artists do wrong is they lie. And I don’t lie. I’m not a liar. I built good will with my fans. They know who I am. And I’m just like them in so many ways."

In the wide-reaching chat broadcast Sunday, Gaga also revealed she goes by another name, in the bedroom!

"I prefer Stefani in bed," the 24-year-old superstar singer — real name Stefani Germanotta — told Cooper.

“That would freak me out,” said Gaga, who showed up for the Grammys in Los Angeles Sunday night in an egg-shaped capsule carried by four men.

Gaga also told Cooper about the message she tried to get across with the raw meat dress she wore to the MTV Video Music Awards, which grabbed international headlines.

"The moral and ethical and political implication of that outfit was far beyond what most people think, which is, 'Eew.' Right?" Lady Gaga said.

"But the reality of it is I was there with four soldiers that had been discharged under the pretense of 'Don't ask, don't tell.

"And, you know what? What I was really trying to say was dead meat is dead meat. And anyone that's willing to take their life and die for their country is the same. You're not gay and dead, straight and dead. You are dead."
